Jura

Single malt scotch; Islay

Tasting Notes:

Color:  rich, deep coffee caramel

Proof / ABV%: 80 Proof / 40%ABV

Nose:  Sweet, smoky, and malty.  Imagine baking a coffee bean/caramel cake and infusing it with just the right amount of burnt smokiness at the end.

Body:  This scotch is smooth.  Do not put it on ice - it is definitely one you want the full flavor of.

Palate:  Perfectly balanced.  The flavors are distinct, yet none so overpowering to drown out the others.

Finish:  There is a nicely appropriate spicy smoky finish.  It is both warming and soothing.  I'm on my second bottle.  At 35 per bottle it’s a steal because it tastes like 80 per bottle.
